FARMERS ACROSS INDIA

Indian Farmers WhatsApp Group

भारतीय किसान WhatsApp समूह

This community is for farmers anywhere in India — not one state, not one crop. Growers of paddy, wheat, cotton, sugarcane, pulses, oilseeds, fruits, vegetables and plantation crops use it to ask what others are seeing this week: sowing, pest pressure, harvest timing, and who is actually buying. Join the Indian Farmers WhatsApp Group to meet farmers, traders and agri buyers beyond your own district.

Farmers from across India — Punjab, Gujarat, the North and the East — standing together with smartphones showing WhatsApp

What this all-India community is for

A working agriculture WhatsApp group for India — crop talk, market leads, and farmer-to-farmer experience.

Farmers from different states

A wheat grower in Punjab and a paddy farmer in coastal Andhra often hit the same buyer and input problems. This channel puts those conversations in one place instead of trapping them inside a single district circle.

Crop-wise conversations

Say what you grow when you join. Threads naturally form around paddy, wheat, cotton, sugarcane, pulses, oilseeds, fruits, vegetables and plantation crops — not generic farm chat.

Practices from other regions

Members share what they tried this season: irrigation turns, pest checks, storage, variety choice. Take what fits your soil and skip the rest. No lecture, no brochure language.

Buyers, traders and lots to move

Traders look for lots beyond one mandi. Post a genuine harvest you need to sell, or a real buy order. The group is for agricultural connections, not forwarded catalogues.

Agriculture updates that farmers use

Scheme notices, MSP changes and seasonal advisories get shared when they affect fieldwork — not as a dump of every WhatsApp forward that went around the village.

Useful resources, quiet feed

Moderators keep spam, fake news and political noise out. You should see crop notes, market leads and a few practical links — not 40 messages before breakfast.

What people actually post

Typical notes from an all-India farmer community — crop lots, buyer asks, and a practice check.

🌾 Farmer — Ludhiana, Punjab

Wheat harvest is almost done here. I have about 80 qtl of average-grade grain. Anyone loading toward Delhi or Haryana this week? Farm pickup possible.

🛒 Trader — Rajkot, Gujarat

Need Shankar-6 cotton, rain-fed, 28–29 mm. Can lift from farm if 50+ qtl. Share village, moisture and last picking date.

11:40 AM ✓✓
🌱 Practice note

Paddy growers in coastal Andhra: stem borer showing at tillering — check dead hearts before the next spray. Pulses in MP: skip a irrigation turn if the forecast is already wet. Sugarcane / plantation members: post only if you have a real lot or a real buy order.

How you get into the group

The AgroDealz signup you already know — four short steps.

  1. Complete the join form

Name, WhatsApp number, state, district, taluk and the topics you want.

  2. Open the community invite

After submit, tap the invite button or scan the QR code. That is the Indian Farmers WhatsApp Group — not a sales call first.

  3. Say your crop and region

A one-line intro (crop + state) is how cotton people find cotton people, and fruit growers find fruit buyers.

  4. Post when you have a real need

A lot to sell, a buyer to find, a pest you cannot name. Skip the good-morning stickers.

Frequently Asked Questions

Who is the Indian Farmers WhatsApp Group for?
Farmers, buyers, traders and agri-input people anywhere in India. If you grow or trade farm produce — paddy, wheat, cotton, sugarcane, pulses, oilseeds, fruits, vegetables or plantation crops — you can join.
How is this different from the Tamil Nadu Farmers WhatsApp Group?
The Tamil Nadu page is for that state's mandi rates, district weather and Tamil/English updates. This page is the all-India farmer community. If you only farm in Tamil Nadu and want local mandi and weather, use the Tamil Nadu Farmers WhatsApp Group.
Which crops do people talk about?
Whatever members actually grow. You will see paddy, wheat, cotton, sugarcane, pulses, oilseeds, fruits, vegetables and plantation crops. Mention your crop in the form so we can place you with the right conversations.
What language is the group in?
Hindi and English are the common languages. Members also write in their own language when they need to — nobody is asked to drop Tamil, Telugu, Marathi or Punjabi at the farm gate.
Can I find a buyer or trader here?
Yes, if the requirement is real. Post crop, quantity, location and quality. Moderators remove ads that look like spam. You can also list the same lot on the AgroDealz marketplace after you join.
Will my phone fill up with messages?
The group is kept short on purpose. Expect a handful of useful notes a day, not a non-stop forward chain. You can mute the chat and still open it when you need a buyer or a practice check.
Is there a charge to join?
No. Joining the Indian Farmers WhatsApp Group is free. Creating an AgroDealz account on the form is optional and also free.
